Chernobyl

Kaitlin is growing like a WEED! Summer weighed her yesterday and she is somewhere between 14.5 and 15 lbs (per our home scale) and 2 feet long! Of course these are unofficial measurements, which will be confirmed next week when she goes in for her 2 month check up and first round of shots. Last night, Summer, Amanda, Kaitlin and I all went to Papasitos to celebrate the sale of Summer's car on Craigslist.com (in 2 days, no less)! Up until about 8pm last night, Kaitlin had been in a poop stand-off, as she had not gone since 4am Sunday morning. We called the pediatrician a few times and she told us to wait until it had been about 5 days and then give her a little prune juice. Well, I think the intoxicating aromas of mexican food at Papasitos did the trick. When we got home and while Summer was feeding her, we had a Chernobyl incident. I had to call in a HAZMAT team to assess the damage and appropriate clean-up protocol. However her mommy and daddy were just happy she's regular again.

I only wish one of the grandma's had been there to take care of that diaper change!!!
