Updated Lega Calcio Patch 1997/98

Image
Through the 1997-98 season, Lega Calcio patch is very similar to that of the previous season but the major differences, the absence of text written from 1946 to 1996 and the black edge of the patch.
Additional for these patches and 'important to point out that being machine-embroidered on cloth can vary in small details in the same embroidery.

Patch Lega Calcio 1998/2003

Image
From Lega Calcio 1998/99 the patches change again, this time in the size, are in fact significantly smaller than the previous. The logo almost similar as the previous season and widely used in the Serie A/B league for five full seasons: 98/99, 99/00, 00 / 01, 01/02, 02/03. The patches had a slight adhesive coating that allowed the application, in fact, the vast majority was applied on the mesh hot, rare cases where these patches were sewn, however, usually at the start of the season or on the kinds of mesh on which it was difficult hot application. On very rare occasions, the patch was embroidered directly in the mesh.

1996-97
Start from the 1996/97 season for the first time in the Italian leagues from Series A and B, the team using the league patch. It was a patch of cloth round in shape with embroidered logo of the national insignia colour shape and the words "Lega Calcio" (Football League) with marked "1946-1996" that is the anniversary of the birth of the League itself. The patches were usually sewn (by hand or machine) on the shirts.
