Home Alone

I love this time of year, but I hate that Sutton and I have to be a part so much in December. This happens every year. The first weekend of December is always the Texas Farm Bureau Convention followed by a field staff meeting so Sutton is gone several nights. This year the convention is in Corpus Christie. I typically have a POA or training the following week. This year I am headed to New Jersey the week before Christmas. I should be home on Friday just in time to start all of the family Christmas celebrations. Fortunately the house is decorated for Christmas. The best way to get your house decorated quickly is to throw a dinner party on December 3rd. We had no choice but to get it done. Sutton was actually still putting lights on the house about 30 minutes before the guests arrived, but he got them up. I have lots to do while he is gone including reading my training modules, writing my Christmas card labels (still have not taken the Christmas card photo...), a work dinner, and catching up on a few other things around the house. Even though he just left this afternoon, I am already missing him!
