  • How is hosting vps servers different from regular hosting?

    The main difference is the guaranteed minimum capacity, which does not change depending on the load on other sites on the physical server.
    Also, a VPS can use a lot more resources if they are not requested at that moment by other VPS.

  • What are VPS servers?

    In total, there are 3 types of such servers: OpenVZ, XEN and KVM. The last two virtualization systems do not allow for overselling.

  • Who administers the servers?

    If the VPS server is rented from Unihost, then you do not have to do the configuration yourself. After you create a Unihost support ticket, our specialists will install the OS, control panels, services, modules. We will also additionally clean the VPS from spam and viruses, write scripts, Bash and Powershel. And if necessary, we will provide detailed advice regarding server administration.

  • What to do if the server is not responding?

    The server is rebooted through the Personal Account. By the way, there you can check the server usage statistics, reinstall the OS.

  • Is it possible to order an additional IP if the virtual server is rented abroad?

    Yes, it’s possible. In Canada, Poland, France, you can order up to 256 IPs per server, in Germany – 37 IPs, in Ukraine – 11. For more information on the topic, please contact our staff using a special form for questions.

  • Do I need documents if I am going to rent a server?

    VPS server rental can be issued without documents. But please note that when paying with a bank card, you will have to go through a full account verification, which will require a passport.
