Me and Ariella

Susie and Josh
So I’m kind of trying to be an actor. I say I’m ‘kind of trying’ because I don’t have that charming desperation that most would-be actors have. Most actors would sell their soul to be in an episode of 30 Rock. I would at least need a speaking part in a Steven Spielberg film if we’re talking my soul.
But really, there are things I will not do as an actor and it puts a limit on the roles I can play. I won’t swear. I won’t kiss anyone other than my wife and I will not wear pastels. Most people say I will never make it as an actor with those kinds of restrictions. I say fine. I’ll wear the pastels.
I live just outside of Toronto, Canada, with my wife Susie (she’s an incredible singer with a CD coming out soon!) our 3-year old son Joshua (he’s like a little terrorist who really means well), and our little girl Ariella (big hair, big eyes, big belly… so cute!) Some moments in our home are like heaven on earth. Other moments are as frustrating as trying to read a lovely novel while sitting inside a hornet’s nest. Have you ever tried that?
I also do motivational speaking in Elementary and High Schools. Waiting for my agent to get me a paid gig was OK when I lived at home with my Mom… with 2 kids and a mortgage I need something stable. So I get most of my income from speaking gigs and I love it! I have a blast at the schools.
I love my kids. I love my wife. And despite my restrictions as an actor I think I can make it. Here’s to being an optimist…
Hey Anthony,
I used to watch you all the time on The X! I think you’re a pretty cool dude with amazing talents. Stay positive and optimistic. God will give you everything that you need in life. I hope to see you on TV again soon.( maybe in a comedy ) Two things though, 1. You have to freestyle. 2. Have Sally Gifford guest star as the nosy neighbor/babysitter! I would’ve loved to had hung out with you guys!
Thanks
