Mark Witton and Darren Naish are vertebrate palaeontologists based at the University of Portsmouth. Darren works on predatory dinosaurs and completed his Ph.D. on them in 2006 – but he is also involved in research on sauropod dinosaurs and pterosaurs. Mark is still working on his pterosaur-based Ph.D. and should have finished it by.. well, some time in the near future. For more information on Darren visit his biography page at Tetrapod Zoology; everything you might want to know about Mark can be found at his world-famous, Science-endorsed flickr site.
