Delighted to reveal my cover artwork for @junodawson’s GRAVE MATTER, deliciously gothic, YA thriller illustrated by me.

Publishing October 15th 2017 with Barrington Stoke.

💀AN ANNOUNCEMENT 💀

This Halloween, I am delighted to announce that I am illustrating a gothic YA novel by the bestselling author Juno Dawson.

GRAVE MATTER is the haunting and moving story of a teenager who can’t get over the sudden and tragic death of his girlfriend.
Set in the snow covered winter, it’s a tale of love, Haitian black magic, grief and difficult choices.

Above is a teaser. NOT the cover.

Quick little Inktober to warm up with this morning.

This is Edna. She’s 87 years young and spent most of the Second World War riveting jet engines, painting her legs with gravy and doing very inventive things with powdered egg.
Now, of course, she lives in a seaside town volunteering in Age Concern, keeping her knees in check with armchair aerobics and feeding Gregg’s sausage rolls to her 24 year old obese cat called Graham (named after her late husband).
