Military Families Receive Free Admission This Summer at Participating Blue Star Museums 2026

The program begins on Armed Forces Day, Saturday, May 16, 2026, and will continue through Labor Day, Monday, September 7, 2026. Participating museums can be found in all 50 states, District of Columbia, Guam, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands, and include history, art, and children’s museums; historical sites; botanical gardens; zoos; aquariums; and more.

Governor’s Budget Proposes Level Funding for the Arts

The Fiscal Year 2027 Executive Budget released on Friday, January 16, 2026, by the Governor’s office proposes the continuation of a $2 million one-time legislative appropriation to the Arizona Commission on the Arts that was included in the State’s FY2025 and FY2026 budgets.

In partnership with arts organizations, schools, festivals and individual artists, we endeavor to celebrate Arizona’s diverse communities and rich cultural traditions, inspire creativity, grow local economies and enhance quality of life for all Arizonans.
