Since November 2022, there’s been a new internet sensation in town: ChatGPT. How will kids engage with these new, more human-like chatbots?
This month's new Girls Into Coding article discusses ChatGPT - The New Online Chatbot Star: Trustworthy or Irresponsible?

Also included in this newsletter, are the upcoming Girls Into Coding events on January 29th and February 12th, a flashback to our in-person event that took place on January 15th, Raspberry Pi's exciting new camera, our founder's latest achievement, and a very interesting Handbook by Mike Rohde!

We hope you enjoy reading our newsletter and we welcome you to connect with us on social media to stay updated. If you would like to receive our next edition straight to your inbox, visit us at Girls Into Coding and subscribe.

In-person Girls Into Coding Event - January 15th, 20223

Our first in-person Girls Into Coding event of 2023 was a blast! The energy was electric as the girls dove into Hands-on Robotics and physical computing workshops, were inspired by uplifting speeches and surrounded by a joyful atmosphere.

A huge shoutout to our fantastic team of mentors, Avye, Sam, Pola, Llewelyn, Mikel, Ben, and inspiring guest speakers Tara Ojo & Rose Fredua. Big ups to Mariyah, one of our attendees who's on her way to becoming a future Girls Into Coding mentor. She was an absolute superstar in assisting Avye!

We couldn't have done it without the support of The National Lottery Community Fund & Merton Giving, helping us in our mission to get more girls into tech.

Thank you to everyone who made this event a success!
