FLASH BACK TO OUR GIRLS INTO CODING
SEPTEMBER 2025 EVENT

Tech for Change: Another Successful Event!
In September, we hosted another Girls Into Coding Tech for Change event at Batch.space, and it was an inspiring day of exploration and innovation!
The girls engaged in activities like robotics and physical computing, continuing their journey into sustainable engineering and technology.
We’re so grateful to our amazing team of engineers, mentors, and volunteers for making this event possible, and to the girls and their families for embracing this journey with such enthusiasm.
This project is part of the Royal Academy of Engineering 's Ingenious project, and we’re thrilled to see the impact it’s already making.

GIRLS INTO CODING AT THE NATIONAL PORTRAIT GALLERY!
|
|
|
Avye and Helene are beyond thrilled to share some incredible news!
They’ve been featured in the Artists First: Contemporary Perspectives on Portraiture exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery!
As part of this groundbreaking exhibition, artist Giana De Dier has created a stunning series of photomontage portraits celebrating changemakers from Britain’s African and Caribbean diaspora who are making a difference in their communities. They’re so honoured to be included in her work, which highlights stories of impact, innovation, and inspiration.
The Artists First program brings together contemporary artists who are reimagining the boundaries of portraiture, connecting past and present histories, and amplifying untold narratives. It’s humbling to see our journey with Girls Into Coding recognised in such a meaningful way, alongside so many other inspiring individuals.
A huge thank you to the National Portrait Gallery, Giana De Dier, and the CHANEL Culture Fund for supporting this incredible project -
Artist First: Cotemporary Perpspectives on Portraiture, and making this moment possible.
The exhibition runs until August 2026, and we can’t wait for you to experience the incredible works by Giana De Dier and the other talented artists who are challenging and expanding the traditional concept of portraiture.
