BCTC Leadership Transition Announcement
The IEEE Blockchain Technical Community (BCTC) extends its deepest appreciation to Ramesh Ramadoss, PhD, for his outstanding leadership and dedicated service over the past eight years as Chair of IEEE Blockchain Technical Community (BCTC).
Under Dr. Ramadoss’ leadership, IEEE BCTC has evolved into a globally recognized IEEE technical community, strengthening its technical initiatives, expanding international engagement, and fostering meaningful collaboration across academia, industry, and standards organizations. His vision and sustained commitment have laid a strong foundation for the continued growth and impact of BCTC worldwide.
As we mark this leadership transition, we are pleased to announce the newly constituted Executive Committee:

Call for Volunteers
Volunteer Interest Town Hall – September 2026
Following the successful Volunteer Interest Town Hall held in June, the IEEE Blockchain Technical Community (BCTC) received an encouraging response from professionals and researchers interested in contributing to the community. Candidate evaluations and committee assignments are currently underway, with committee placements expected to be finalized by the end of July.
The next Volunteer Interest Town Hall will be held on 1 September 2026 with two identical sessions to accommodate participants across different time zones:

During this Town Hall, the BCTC leadership will:

Announce the volunteer committee assignments.

Introduce the various technical and functional committees.

Share upcoming initiatives and opportunities for volunteer engagement.

Welcome new volunteers interested in contributing to the IEEE Blockchain Technical Community.
Whether you are an existing volunteer or would like to become one, you are welcome to join either session.
