Washington DC After- School Sailing Program

Are you looking for a fun after school program for your teenager? Would they benefit from an individualized learning environment? Brendan Sailing, a popular and longstanding summer camp operating in Annapolis for 40 years, is bringing back our after-school program in Washington DC!
 
Launching at DC Sail near the Nationals Park and Navy Yard-Ballpark Metro, Brendan Sailing teaches youth with a wide range of learning differences (Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, Level 1 ASD, Auditory Processing Disorder, ADHD, ODD, etc.) how to sail in a non-competitive environment and use sailing as a foundation for building life skills, self-confidence, and social ability.  Brendan Sailing follows the National On-Water Standards for boating instruction taught by US Sailing certified instructors, ensuring that youth receive the most comprehensive on-water education.

Students will learn sailing skills on Flying Scot sailboats with certified sailing instructors.   Applications due by September 4th. Space is limited to 8 students.
