I used California Pools to help design and build a new pool for me in mid 2019 and have been completely pleased will all facets of the process. From design, schedule, communication, questions, completion: all were handled quickly, efficiently and with my satisfaction in mind. MOST IMPORTANTLY; the service i receive after project completion has been outstanding. A few issues had popped up as one would expect and Cal Pools has handled ALL my issues quickly and to my satisfaction. I truly feel they value my business.

Cal Pools team were excellent with service, follow up, and were very friendly! I was out of town much of the time they were building my pool and they went out of their way to stay in touch with me and keep me up to date on progress. I can't recommend them enough! We are very happy with our pool and the overall experience with California Pools. We looked at several other pool companies and we are really happy that we ended up going with California Pools. We started our project in April of 2021 with Les. He listened to what we wanted and really worked to create a design that fit our requirements for both the pool and the landscaping. Once we signed, things moved along. We did experience a delay when they hit hard dig about 6" down... we expected this knowing the area we're in. But after a change order for the cost of a hard dig, things progressed again. Nothing else major came up during the rest of the project and our Construction Manager, Dustin, was absolutely great to work with. He is a rockstar. He and Sara were responsive to any questions or concerns we had and worked to address them. Crews were respectful, not leaving trash behind, and friendly when we would come out to see or ask questions. This project did take a while and we did challenge Dustin as we got to May 2022 to have us in the water by Memorial Day. Dustin delivered, just in time! The landscaping really impressed us as well. The quality of the plants and trees was great, and their team has been great to work with. I've seen some of the negative reviews and want to add that a construction project like this isn't going to be turnkey. You have to be engaged. Go out and look at what's being done in your yard - ask questions, help the Construction Manager help you. They're not there every day, but you are. Understand that your yard is construction zone until complete - people will come and go. Schedules aren't always exact. Your construction manager is your best friend during this process. Be kind, be patient. If you team up with them, you'll have a great experience and end up with a great backyard.

California pools has created the most relaxing,inviting and beautiful backyard space for my home. The construction process was easy and there was constant communication. Any issues or concerns were always immediately addressed and corrected. The app provided a tracking trail for every action taken in my backyard. From working with Doug, Victoria and Dylan to all of the subcontractors this has been a wonderful contracting experience. In the final phase they pushed to complete the job in time for me to hold my sister's wedding in the backyard. All of the guests were blown away by the beautiful pool and landscape.

Ran into some issues with our Salt Cell and despite some frustration with the warehouse, Cal Pools did a fantastic job as the middle person between me and the place where I was to pick-up a salt cell. Specifically, Lisa was amazing. She kept us updated, took the time to troubleshoot the issue with the warehouse and with Hayward. And was incredibly responsive. Cal pools and Lisa took care of me and tonight, my salt pool is operating normally.

We have had a California Pool for nearly twenty years and have always enjoyed the use over this time without concern. When we were planing and did our homework we selected California Pools because of the reputation, warranty and top reviews. We were very fortunate because over the years the quality and low maintenance proved itself. In the very few times we have needed their attention, it was responded to with the customer in mind and immediate. We are pleased to recommend California Pools when you want a quality pool built.

As we had hoped, the end result is stunning, and has made the process worth it. Please see the attached photos. Not everything was perfect--construction never is--but we received timely communications and resolutions. Above all else, California Pools was focused on the quality and longevity of the end product, even if items had to be redone. A big thanks to Jeremiah, Marissa, and Scott N. (and others along the way) for their commitment and professionalism with tough circumstances. If I take an honest look at the last several years, I would say that it was a complex project starting in a complex time (COVID). Labor and supply shortages brought challenges, and neither party expected the timeline to stretch as long as it did. In the end, California Pools righted the ship and delivered.

I could not be happier with the customer service provided by California Pools and Landscape. We had a few unforeseen hiccups along the way, but Noah S & Vianna L took great care of my project and resolved the issues. To me, customer service and warranty follow through are as important (if not more than) the product, and they have absolutely delivered on all fronts. I was referred to Cal Pools for the customer service and Noah and Vianna did not disappoint! They both attended to my project and the warranty repairs as if it was their top priority even though I know they have many other customers to serve. California Pools recently completed mypool construction project at my home in Maricopa. Their staff was excellent and guided me threw the different construction phases and keep me informed as to what was happening next on my quest to create the background that I hoping to create and enjoy. Everything from day one meeting with Brian our designer at the Queen Creek office, to the finished product went smooth. We got few different quotes, and California was not the cheapest, but for the additional 5k we received better products all the way around. (Pebbletec color choices, travertine and pool tile options, and better landscaping irrigation options). Our superintendent Don, and our construction manager Michelle were always communicating with us also. We have the most amazing property in the entire community in Copper Basin in STV. We are some very pleased new residents in AZ, and we don't miss Wisconsin at all.

California Pools completed a total redesign and update of our 30+ yr old backyard and also recommended and installed a fabulous new long driveway with spectacular pavers and custom curbing.The back yard re-design was eye catching, the reality completed is a stunning look, function, feel and terrific upgrade. We relocated a hot tub, added a large ramada, changed the shape of the pool, added water features, resurfaced several thousand feet of hardscape to exquisite limestone pool decking/walkways/patios. Landscaping and lighting updates and the latest router controlled pool equipment are the capstone to a total makeover. Wow is how we feel about the project. Visitors are stunned with the total transformation. We are grateful for Jeremiah Price who was the Superintendent from start to finish of the project. Jeremiah is a gifted leader, and is totally client-centric and knows construction. There was no end to his ability to adapt and find the way forward and to make the time to keep us informed and in the loop throughout the project. Thank you Jeremiah.We highly recommend CP and Jeremiah if you are looking for a professional team that makes beautiful transformations happen.

We redid our ENTIRE yard with California Pools last spring. We were a little cautious when selecting such a large pool company. We were afraid we'd get lost in the mix. Let me just say, that could'nt be farther from the truth! We were able to reach someone immediately, including weekends! They went above and beyond and gave us OUTSTANDING attention from start to finish. Even after our project was complete we have still contacted them and have always had any questions/concerns answered immediately! Our backyard was transformed into an outdoor oasis for our family and meets the needs of our pets, small children and my husband and I. Customer service was top notch with every person we dealt with! We would do business with them again and again and will always refer California Pools so anyone! We just wish customer service were like this everywhere, beacause it's rare to find these days! We consider them friends and felt cared for from start to finish and beyond!

The Cal Pool team was awesome to work with and made a long standing dream come true. We couldn't be happier with how they guided us through the process to transform our backyard into a true oasis that amazes us each time we go outside. We've never been through this type of project but Dave C made the entire design process fun and easy to understand, Nathan R was provided fantastic oversight of the build process, and Ciarra T was there every step of the way to help answer questions about billing, change orders, and other administrative details. And the Cal Pool app was a slick way of allowing us to know all milestones that had been completed, that were scheduled to be complete, and to help detail all of the actions that occur throughout this process. Also important to note that all of the Cal Pool subcontractors were amazing and courteous. And we couldn't be happier with the finished product!

Our pool Installation was just completed with Calpools in just 3 months. Brian, jordan and Valerie assisted in the process. We received regular communication throughout the process as to any updates/delays. Calpools also installed the decking & turf which also turned out beautiful. My wife and I for several years have always wanted our own pool in the backyard. Finally the time was right for us so we enlisted the help of California Pools. Ted Jimenez was the representative that California Pools sent to our house for our first meeting. I am a very skeptical person but Ted was very receptive to what my wife and I were looking for input project. He hit it out of the park with the design by both including our wants along with his ideas to create a spectacular design. Once we finalized our deal and began the project we were assigned our project manager Todd. Our project was far from perfect and had some difficulties but between Ted and Todd they were able to provide us with everything we're looking for. My wife and I couldn't be happier with the end result and all of the great service we received through the project. Many thanks to Todd, Ted and the rest of the staff who all had a hand in our pool!! This is the second pool project Mike Lillis has completed for us, and just like the first time, he and his team delivered an outstanding job. The entire build process was seamless and efficient thanks to the excellent staff. Ciarra was phenomenal at communication; she kept us thoroughly informed through every step of the construction and was always a pleasure to work with. Furthermore, Steve expertly managed the entire pool build from start to finish, consistently taking care of every small detail and ensuring a smooth completion. The overall experience was excellent, and we are confidently looking forward to working with them again on our new home build.

After years of above ground pools we decided to get an in-ground pool. California pools have been great from design to completion. They took their time listening to what we wanted but knew all the in and outs of what our city allowed. Seeing their design pictures was amazing and were patient as we went through colors of the different areas. Seeing them on a big screen sealed the deal. Every person we have dealt with kept us up to date with construction and time tables. The app they have makes things easy to maneuver and enjoyed seeing what the next step would be. We have been enjoying our new pool for a few weeks. Our backyard went from blah to beautiful!

When we decided to have a pool built we checked out several pool companies and found that only California Pools understood our vision. Other pools companies gave us boring and outdated designs and some even pushed back when we asked for new designs. Our designer at Cal pools Matt Sauer worked with us until we were 100% satisfied with our design (and 8 change orders during the construction because we were super indecisive) and we felt no pressure. During the construction our construction manager Jeremiah was extreemly helpful and ensured our pool was built properly and with excellent quality. He always worked with our scheduling coordinator Sara and let us know the phases of construction that we were in and helped us make any last min changes to ensure we were happy. I would definitely recommend California Pools to design and build your pool!

Sean is a true professional and was always right on top of every detail. He was always available or returned my calls immediately. I could ask anything of him during this project and he always came back with a "can do" attitude and made it happen. One time I called him and told him there was flooding in my side yard. I thought there was something wrong with the new plumbing that had been installed that day. He came over after I had left for work and discovered that it was a drip system problem and had nothing to do with the pool renovation he was overseeing. Sean dug up the main line, found the split in it, and repaired it on the spot. He didn't have to do that, but he did. That's the kind of guy he is. That's the kind of company California Pools is. You guys are Rock Stars. California Pools initially installed my pool many years ago and now has done an amazing job at renovating it and making it look better than new again. I had it re-pebbleteched, added two new sitting benches, all new plumbing and lighting, and resurfaced my decks with travertine. The project came in on schedule with absolutely no glitches. Again, many thanks for the outstanding job you all do. I give you guys a solid 10 for excellence.

I could not be happier with California Pools and Spa for my total landscape and pool. Every team and person that I worked with was professional, but more importantly pleasant and great to work with from the design master Brian Fox, to the schedule coordinator Sara Dougan, to the project manager Jordan Thrasher, and everyone in between. I thought their bid was very comparable to others. all the neighbors agree that all the landscapes in this area by this company are far and above the other companies.

In an industry that's rife with companies that lack integrity, reliability, and the resources to deliver on time (or at all in some cases), California Pools and Landscaping is the gold standard for making things happen. My hat's off to their designer Cory Blackwell, superintendent Kevin Everhart, and Construction Coordinator Leann Madar in taking our vision of a backyard oasis and making it a reality that exceeded our expectations. From 2D drawings to 3D model to demolition to underground rough-in to the finished product, it was quite the accelerated journey to witness a concept materialize. There were a couple of code challenges that popped up, but CPL was able to intercept and correct the issues to stay on schedule and avoid any red tags by Developmental Services. I've been in construction for 40 years and counting, and I have yet to see a project go without a snag, but in my opinion, working with CPL is the best choice in ensuring the job is done as seamlessly as possible. Great management team that raised the bar for customer service--they were extremely professional and responsive. When they schedule work to get done, it gets done...and we're talking high speed, low drag, folks. The workmanship from the travertine pavers to the pebble finish of the pool was flawless and beautiful, and the scope of work was completed impressively fast. As I first mentioned, there are a lot of companies out there trying to sell their ability to do the work you want, but do your research, do a deep dive on reviews, and check the BBB if there are any complaints filed against them. There are too many flakes and hacks in the valley that claim to be pool contractors, so do yourself and your dream project a favor and do your homework. In my humble opinion, California Pools and Landscaping stands head-and-shoulders above the rabble. They're not cheap, but A++ results speaks for itself. My name is Ajax, and I endorse this review.
