Remake of one of my favourite drawings from 2024. Been needing to make some new stuff for my portfoilo, so wanted to start by re-making some of my favourite works, like this one >:)
I wanted to colour that sketch I did for practice a couple of days ago and I used it as a chance to test some new digital brushes :)
SUMMARY
Ahnoldt joins the other Elites in the Orion Lounge for a spot of tea and small talk, while they count down the minutes to the rocket’s launch.

ALTERNATIVE TIMELINE & CLOTHING!
It’s still very much a WIP since I’ve got a few more Elites to add to this and some minor changes (, like Henry is WAY too broad in the shoulders), but I wanted to share what I have so far, since I’m really proud of some of these, like I love Reginald’s hair and suit. Feels very fitting for a timeline where he’s not a Leader.
Might turn these into little bio card, dunno yet. You’ll see them again when they’re done >:)
I’m never able to participate in the ____obers, like sticktober. I tried a long time ago, but I’m always too busy around these months to manage anything. This year’s no different ^^;
However, I was pretty inspired seeing all the cool stuff everyone was making, so I plucked a work out of the sky- that being ‘parallel’ -and what was originally going to be just a Carol & Macbeth drawing spiralled into this (, which is arguable cooler).
I love alternative timelines/universes (am I of course, an Undertale fan art heart), so this was very fun fleshing out Double Shots world (and no. The AU’s name isn’t a rip-off of the new Pokémon game. There is meaning behind those three letters (, and quite significant at that),but for today… i’ve shown enough of my hand~ )
I wanted to do Toppat Clan Rising for everyone too since these three are the core universes I want to focus on. However, I really haven’t given Rising’s future too much thought beyond the current story’s climax and short-term consequences. Another time perhaps ;)

Running a little late on this one. The cover art took longer than I thought it would. I also did a last minute re-read & edit too, so I’ll check again for errors in the morning, but it should be okay.

Art sheet I made for Nick Nickel from this week’s Toppat Clan Rising chapter. I made some changes from the original design described in the chapter, as I found some issues with it visually that I wasn’t able to see in my head. (I’ve got the description to update next).
The speed paint with it is quite an entertaining watch with the sheer amount of changes and developments throughout. I also made a start on Hōkū’s sheet (since I figured towards the end I should do one of these for all my original characters), some logo designs that didn’t go anywhere and a second drawing. I normally do them on different canvas’s, but I was in the flow so just kept going ^^;
The main change from Nick’s original design was I felt it was too complicated and a little too close to Macbeth’s. Originally I planned this on purposed, but after getting the sketch done, I released Nick looked FAR too close to him, near enough for the pair to be mistaken which is not what I wanted. I went in and made some changes, ditching the jacket and giving Nick a design closer to Hōkū’s which made more sense storywise. I did like his colour palette a lot, so I pushed the green into a more yellow-grey. Nick’s still got a similar colour scheme to the one I liked, but side by side him & Macbeth should be clearly different enough.
Summary:
Macbeth tapped his finger nervously on his thigh, listening to the sound of the transportation pod.
What was he doing?
What was he thinking?
This was a mistake.

I wanted to expand Danny’s character a little so he’s not just a jerk (tho, he’s good at doing that too, lol).
I don’t know if I’ll continue this a little longer or not, I have an idea for one more group of pages, so maybe? *Shrugs* Well see.
I also found an art style I’m not too against for quick comic doodles, this sort of grey scale marker doesn’t look half-that bad and was fairly quick. I might use this style for Locked In’s comic.
