Over the course of two decades, Clacai has contributed to advances in legal frameworks, health services, social narratives and the strengthening of key actors, consolidating itself as a regional platform of reference in the defense of the right to abortion.
The Latin American Consortium Against Unsafe Abortion (Clacai) is a regional network founded in 2006, which brings together more than300 organizations, activists, researchers, health professionals and other networks with the aim of strengthening collaboration and promotingstrategies for universal access to legal, safe and quality abortion services across Latin America and the Caribbean.
