Guitar and Voice Performance – Salsa de Barrio Dec. 6, 2025
Transcription of the wind instruments from “Pedro Navaja” adapted for electric guitar with Valentina Silvera. Backing vocals on “Mami me gustó”, “Rankankan”, and “Sandunguera”

“Charly García Medley” (music session and producer/mix)
A guitar, synth, and piano mashup inspired by the style of Charly García. I recreated the sound of the Roland D-50 and Yamaha DX7 using Logic Pro’s native synthesizers, emulating the iconic keyboard timbres characteristic of Charly García’s work during that era. Produced for a client who needed to complete and pass a seminar course requirement.
Guitar Arrangement Tinta Roja from Goyeneche
Guitar arrangement of “Tinta Roja” by Troilo and Goyeneche, created for solo guitar. An instrumental piece offering a unique interpretation of the original work, prepared using music notation software as part of the academic framework.
“Soft Christmas” (song, recorder bells, piano & mixed)
Production and mixing of a short Christmas piece. It features piano (performed by me), saxophone (performed by Román Traversa), bells —recorded using a tambourine and later processed with multiple layers and effects to achieve the desired sound— and the addition of a background noise layer. All elements were routed to a shared reverb bus to create a cohesive spatial atmosphere. I also applied corrections to the saxophone using Flex Pitch and Flex Monophonic within the Logic Pro X DAW.

Guitar arrangement of “Nocturna,” a milonga by Aníbal Troilo
Created as part of the final-year Guitar IV course . Presented to the course professor, with sheet music prepared using music notation software. The arrangement offers a unique interpretation of the original piece, adapting it for guitar duo while preserving the essence of the traditional milonga rhythm from Argentina.

Palidecer explores how an emotional crisis can distort one’s own perception. Set in the bathroom of a party, it invites the viewer to experience thediscomfort, disorientation, and anguish characteristic of a panic attack. Through a dark and tense atmosphere, the work seeks to reflect the fragility of the mind when reality is perceived in a distorted way.

About
My name is Virginia Severiche Claros. I was born on July 21, 1998, in Bahía Blanca, Buenos Aires Province, Argentina. My passion for music began at the age of 10, when I started taking private guitar lessons. I later studied singing at the Taller Cultural Alondra, where I performed in theaters, while simultaneously presenting myself independently at cultural events, performing original compositions and covers on string instruments.
I later enrolled at the Bahía Blanca Conservatory of Music, where I studied guitar and vocal. Afterwards, I moved to La Plata to continue my education, pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree and Teaching Degree in Music, with a specialization in Popular Music, at the Faculty of Arts of the National University of La Plata (UNLP).
Throughout my university studies, I actively participated in conferences, teaching assistantships, courses, performances, and musical projects, working as a composer, instrumentalist, and sound practitioner. My experience includes production in stereo format and, in recent years, in immersive audio formats (5.1 and Dolby Atmos), notably presenting an interdisciplinary fulldome short film at the UNLP Planetarium.
I am currently preparing to premiere my first tango composition, an original work composed by me, recorded in a professional studio, written for an instrumental octet, in which I perform as an electric guitarist.
I am a professional musician, holding degrees as a Bachelor of Music and Certified Music Teacher, with experience in research, teaching, and academic and practical projects related to music and sound. I am currently focused on completing projects and ongoing professional development, and I am seeking scholarship opportunities or professional roles at both the national and international levels.
