Chamber ensembles: each year, the Classical Music Club auditions musicians from across the McGill community to join small ensembles to prepare a chamber work for two recitals each term.
Concerts: because of our longstanding relationship with the Orchestre Symphonique de Montréal and l’Opéra de Montréal, we are able to provide discounted tickets to CMC members for concerts throughout the year.
“For the love of it” events: We plan events throughout the year to bring CMC members together to share their love of classical music, whether as a musician or as an enthusiast!

The CMC is recruiting executives!
Join us in working towards building a strong community of musicians and music-lovers across McGill. Prior experience is helpful but not necessary as long as you are passionate and willing to contribute. Applications are due August 31st, 2026, but please note that interviews may begin before or after the application deadline. We will be reviewing applications on a rolling basis and scheduling interviews accordingly.
