Charting the Path to Equity

About us

Leading with Values

Our Guiding Principles

These nine Transformative Principles emerged from the “Beyond 2020” Sustainability Planning Process where adult residents, youth residents, and organizational representatives participated to reflect on the Santa Ana Building Healthy Communities 10-year initiative and identified the next steps guided by the principles.

The vision Beyond 2020 is working towards a new way of organizing and working with community. Through a set of guiding transformative principles, the hope is that Santa Ana will be more intentional about organizing experience: improve the quality of relationships, the depth of personal and social transformation, and the dynamics of power even among those who organize; which will be a gradual and long-term process.
