This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) applies to all Enter.Net Internet subscribers, Enter.Net business customers, or Web hosting customers in the third party, as well as all others transiting or using Enter.Net’s network or resources. Enter.Net reserves the right to modify this AUP at any time, effective upon public posting of the modified AUP at http://www2.enter.net/resources/aup.

SMS & Email Communication

IMPORTANT NOTE – Enter.Net has the right to discontinue service, or deny access to anyone who violates our Policies or the terms and conditions shown on this page WITHOUT WARNING OR PRIOR NOTICE. Enter.Net customers have agreed to this and other Terms and Conditions by signing our Account Set-up Form, or by using our service. If for any reason you do not agree with the Terms and Conditions or policies shown on this page, DISCONTINUE USE OF YOUR ACCOUNT OR SERVICE IMMEDIATELY, and please contact Enter.Net during regular business hours at 610-437-2221.

SMS/Email/Communication Policy

Enter.Net has the right to discontinue any service at any time for any reason with or without notification. Upon notification or termination of the service it is the customers responsibility to setup, migrate, save all data, etc and transfer to another service provider. Enter.Net also has the right to change any and all prices and/or term lengths without prior notice. Customer will receive new invoice with the new pricing for their next billing cycle/term.

Here is specific information on Enter.Net’s policy with respect to mass email mailings, multiple Usenet News postings and other mass unsolicited communications – these are all commonly known as SPAM.

The Internet user community does not welcome unsolicited email from any source. This “junk email” is commonly referred to as “SPAM”. In addition to SPAM, multiple postings of the same information to many Usenet Newsgroups and advertising in most of the Usenet Newsgroups are also unwelcome.

If you are receiving SPAM, you may be able to set up filters on your email or news reader that will help to minimize the unwanted SPAM. Enter.Net’s engineering and network operations center has attempted to minimize the quantity of SPAM being received by our email and news systems. Unfortunately, there is no way to totally eliminate SPAM technically, and the laws for junk email are only forming as of today. The best way to deal with SPAM is to simply delete the email or offending message and move on. Never retaliate against a SPAMMER destructively- this will only make the situation worse and your retaliation may be very illegal as it can cause damage to Enter.Net networks and other networks or systems.

Specifically:
  • Enter.Net does not allow our network resources to be used by anyone to email or mass-email using Enter.Net’s mail servers any user or groups of users especially those that have not indicated a willingness to receive such mailings.
  • Enter.Net does not allow websites that have been infected or compromised in any way to remain active on our servers. Leaving the infected website active on the servers could affect our client websites as well as the performance of the server itself. It is up to the customer to either engage Enter.net or another party to remove all infected files when possible. If the infected are unable to be removed/cleaned due to age or other circumstances, the customer may update to a newer website or move their website to another provider. Enter.net is not responsible for any loss of data or downtime.
  • Enter.Net does not provide training, walk-throughs, or lessons on updating and maintaining customer’s websites. Upon websites “going live” Enter.net will provide the website login and along with basic “how-to” instructions. Enter.net may provide a maintenance plan to customer for additional fees.
  • Enter.Net does not allow our systems to be used for RELAY from non-Enter.Net customers or networks.
  • Enter.Net does not knowingly allow our systems to be used for any activity that is illegal.
  • Enter.Net does not allow customers or other networks’ connections to consume excessive resources from our systems.
  • Enter.Net does not allow our customers to use other providers’ mail servers to relay any type of email without the express consent of that provider.

ALL Enter.Net dial-up, direct connect Internet accounts and customer web pages cannot be used for mass emailing of any type using Enter.Net’s mail servers. Mass emailing is defined as the sending of any number of messages to random email addresses, or the running of any mailing list, whether or not the list of recipients are willing to receive such mailings. If you wish to run a responsible mailing list of any type, please call Enter.Net at 610-437-2221 for information on that optional service. If we find a violation of the above utilizing Enter.Net’s mail servers, Enter.Net has the right to immediately suspend that customer’s account without prior notice or warning.

Billing Policies

No refunds on any unused portions. YOU MAY PAY YOUR INVOICE BY CHECK, OR, IF NOTICE OF CANCELLATION IS NOT RECEIVED, WE WILL CHARGE YOUR CREDIT OR DEBIT CARD ON THE DUE DATE, IF ON FILE, OR BILL YOU, FOR AN ADDITIONAL BILLING TERM. ENTER.NET, INC. ASSUMES NO LIABILITY FOR ANY LOSS OR DAMAGES CAUSED BY INTERRUPTION OF SERVICE FOR ANY REASON.

A cancellation number is provided at the time of cancellation.

By establishing a connection to Enter.net, you agree to all terms and conditions set forth in writing in Enter.net’s brochures, sales literature, installation instructions, web pages, etc.

Domain Name Registration: Enter.Net provides one year of paid Domain Registration for new clients. After the initial year the rate is $29.95 annually to renew. Keeping an active Domain Name is clients responsibility, and can easily be managed via myportal.enter.net. Clients also have the option of setting up auto-renewal for payments by keeping an active charge card on their account with Enter.Net. Auto-renewal, charge card updates, and Domain management can be handled via myportal.enter.net, calling (610) 437-2221 Ext. 3, or by emailing [email protected]. Also Enter.net offers DNS “Domain Name Service” for a fee if applicable.

General Policies

Censorship:

Enter.Net has a policy of no-censorship, either from or to our systems, UNLESS, the information transmitted is illegal or is clearly used for fraud. The “warez” and “crack” Usenet news groups are an example of this. (Enter.Net does not carry the warez or crack groups).

User Transmitted Content:

You are solely responsible for the information you publish over the Internet, either via email, Netnews, your personal web pages, or other service. You must not infringe on any third party’s copyright, patent, trademark, trade secret or other proprietary rights or rights of publicity or privacy. You must not violate any law, statute, ordinance, or regulation. You must not be defamatory, trade libelous, unlawfully threatening or unlawfully harassing. The information you transmit should not be obscene or illegal based upon any Federal, State or Local laws. The information you transmit must not intentionally contain viruses, Trojan horses, worms, time bombs, cancelbots, or other computer programming routines that are intended to damage, detrimentally interfere with, surreptitiously intercept or expropriate any system, data, or personal information.

Account Usage:

Your account is for your exclusive and individual use only; multiple concurrent logins of the same account are not allowed. Beyond the fact that allowing others to use your account is prohibited, consider that you become responsible for the back charges incurred by someone else that you have allowed to use your account. For this reason you must protect your account and password as you would any other personal resource such as your telephone or credit card number.

Resource Usage:

No communications system has unlimited resources and we expect you to act responsibly when consuming resources on our system. The Resource Usage policy applies to any and all Enter.Net resources used by our Customers, including the size of your email box. Further, Customers using Enter.Net Personal “On-Demand” dial-up analog modem or ISDN accounts may not run any servers, such as HTTP, FTP or MAIL, IRC, QUAKE or GAME servers. Excessive concurrent processes or processes which continue after you have logged off are prohibited. Our servers automatically end long idle calls, and during peak times you can expect minimum allowed idle time of at least 20 minutes. Users that stay connected for more than 6 (six) continuous hours may be subject to automatic disconnection. If this should occur while you are still on-line and interactively using the Internet, simply re-dial and login again. No connection may be used for more than 12 continuous hours – this is called “hanging” and Enter.Net considers this an excessive use of our resources. If you consume excessive resources on our system we may suspend your access at any time without prior notice.

Email Delivery and Sending:

Enter.Net is not responsible or liable for any lost or delayed email if you are using Enter.Net’s email system. Enter.Net is not responsible or liable for any lost or delayed contact form submissions. Enter.net is not responsible for any missed deliveries due to your spam folder/filters. It is the responsibility of the customer to check from time to time that their email is properly working as well as their website form including employment application forms, etc. Enter.Net does not allow the storing of mail on its servers and it is your responsibility to make sure that an email program is configured correctly to download the mail. It is your responsibility to setup all mail accounts for the domain name, or verify that the accounts are setup properly on your computer. Enter.Net is not responsible for any third parties preventing email to be delivered by or to Enter.Net’s servers. On occasion, Enter.net does offer and allow email hosting without a website hosting agreement for non-commercial use however, Enter.net offers very limited tech support.

Email Tech Support:

Enter.net is not responsible for third-party mail programs such as Outlook, Gmail, Thunderbird, etc. It is you responsibility to properly set up your email program and keep it in good working condition. Enter.net is not responsible for any updates or changes made by the third-party software company. It is your responsibility to consult with a third-party tech support such as Best Buy, Computer Warehouse, or the company providing the email program.

Email Storage:

It is the responsibility of the Customer to permanently store, save or retain any email messages that are desirable to save and keep. The size of your incoming email temporary storage at Enter.Net is very liberal but not unlimited in size. Most Customers will never exceed the limits under normal use. However, excessively large temporary email boxes create a Resource Usage problem and violate our AUP. To avoid this, Customers may not use Enter.Net’s email servers for permanent or long-term storage. Customer Support at Enter.Net will assist you in configuring your email client NOT to store messages on Enter.Net’s servers; instead to store those message locally on your computer. Please call Customer Support at 610-437-2221 for more information. If you begin to have an email box that is too large, you will receive an automatic message that asks you to clean-up (move or delete old mail) your email box. Again Enter.Net’s Customer Service can help you with this simple procedure. If you ignore the warning message, Enter.Net’s mail server will stop delivering email to your account until you reduce the size of your email box.

How much storage is allowed? At least 5 Mb per email account which is plenty for all normal uses. The email system is purposely designed to occasionally allow you to temporarily exceed this limit for short periods of time. As long as you cleanup your email box regularly, you’ll never have a storage problem.

PLEASE NOTE: the size of your email box is a resource that falls under the Resource Usage policy, above. 

Security:

Enter.Net actively and automatically monitors all of our systems for attempts at breaching our security or the security of our customers, or attempts to access systems or resources that are not available for customers to use or access. This is commonly known as “hacking”. Any attempt to access or modify unauthorized computer system information or to interfere with normal system operations, whether on the equipment of Enter.Net or of any computer system or network that is accessed by our services, will result in immediate and permanent cancellation of your account and may also lead to other legal proceedings against you.

ANY INDIVIDUAL FOUND ENGAGED IN UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS OR ATTEMPTING UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO Enter.Net OR Enter.Net CUSTOMER EQUIPMENT WILL HAVE THEIR ACCOUNT IMMEDIATELY TERMINATED AND THE INCIDENT REPORTED TO THE ALLENTOWN BUREAU OF THE FBI.

UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS OR ATTEMPTS AT UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS ORIGINATING FROM Enter.Net CORPORATE CLIENT NETWORKS WILL BE REPORTED TO THE CORPORATE CLIENT. CORPORATE CLIENTS MUST ACT IN GOOD FAITH TO IMMEDIATELY TERMINATE SUCH ACCESS OR ATTEMPTS AT ACCESS, OR FACE TERMINATION OF THE CORPORATE ACCOUNT AND REPORTING OF THE INCIDENT(S) TO THE ALLENTOWN BUREAU OF THE FBI.

Examples of security actions that will trigger security alarms at Enter.Net’s 24 hour / 7 day staffed network operations center are, but are not limited to:

  • Satan or port scans, full, half, fin or stealth
  • Vulnerability probing of any kind on any machines or devices.
  • SNMP attempts
  • Mail host relay use or hi-jacking
  • Telnet, FTP, Rcommands, etc. to internal systems
  • Attempts to access privileged or private TCP or UDP ports
  • HTTP access without the use of a Web browser
  • Multiple and frequent Finger attempts
  • Excessive resource utilization
  • Source route spoofing
  • Smurf attacks
  • IP number spoofing or masquerading
  • Forging TCP packets or email header information
  • Syn Floods
  • OOB attacks
  • Password cracking or guessing schemes
  • Excessive email postings (SPAM)

Enter.Net records the complete session of security breach attempts such as those mentioned above, and will forward this information on to the authorities during our investigations. Enter.Net takes security very seriously in order to ensure that you and all of our customers can enjoy a safe and productive Internet environment.

NONE OF THE ABOVE-MENTIONED SECURITY PROBLEMS ARE EVER ACCIDENTAL, AND NORMAL USE OF INTERNET SOFTWARE SUCH AS BROWSERS AND EMAIL PROGRAMS WILL NEVER CAUSE A PROBLEM. ALL OF THE ABOVE ACTIONS ARE DELIBERATE AND INTENTIONAL AND IN MANY CASES REQUIRE SOPHISTICATED PROGRAMS AND KNOWLEDGE.

Usage:

Using Enter.Net’s network to advertise, transmit, store, post, display, or otherwise encourage illegal activity is prohibited. Enter.Net will cooperate fully with law enforcement agencies in these matters. Enter.Net does not allow sites that contain pornographic material or sites that link to pornographic material. Enter.Net does not permit spamming from our network.

Unlawful Usage:

Enter.Net’s network of information services may only be used for lawful purposes. Transmission of any material in violation of any federal, state or local regulation is prohibited. This includes copyrighted material, material judged to be threatening or obscene, or material protected by trade secret.

Social Media Management:

Disclaimer: Enter.Net is not responsible for clients’ social media status, account standing, or reputation on third-party platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube). While we aim to enhance your social media presence, we cannot guarantee results such as visibility, follower growth, or protection from platform actions (e.g., content removal, account suspension). Clients are responsible for complying with each platform’s rules and making sure their accounts are in good standing. Clients understand that platform policies and algorithms are beyond Enter.Net’s control.

Privacy

While every attempt is made to keep all information passing to and from our systems, and to and from our customers private, you must assume that any information that you transmit or receive may not be private. Enter.Net does not monitor or record normal usage of our systems. However, Enter.Net will fully cooperate with any authority in investigation of illegal activity and may turn over logs and records upon receipt of proper orders or subpoenas. The Electronic Communications Act of 1986 and the Telecommunications Act of 1998 contains important privacy and confidentiality information.

Selling of Customer Information:

Enter.Net does not and will not sell or transfer any information about our customer base to any third party for the purpose of using that information for marketing or direct sales. Enter.Net does cooperate with other Internet and communications service providers and may release customer information to those parties in the event of security or credit-related problems.

Responsible Usage:

We exercise no control over the content of the information passing through our systems; we only provide access. You must take responsibility for your actions on our system and the systems you access through us. You must comply with whatever rules or Acceptable Usage Policies that are appropriate for the systems you access. If you are offended by information you find on any system, it is your responsibility to avoid whatever you find offensive. You must take responsibility for the statements you make in email, chat, discussion forums, and Usenet newsgroups. If you violate any of Enter.Net’s usage policies or your actions, whether intentional or unintentional, endanger our systems or another network’s systems from another provider, company or individual, Enter.Net may suspend your access at any time, without prior notice. Enter.Net management is the final and sole judge of whether any abuse or violations has occurred.

Customer Connected Network:

Customers who are connected to Enter.Net through digital connections directly attached to their network (direct connect customers) are asked to make appropriate policy for the users of your network. In all cases, Enter.Net reserves the right to disconnect any customer connection that is using excessive resources of the Enter.Net network. Enter.Net’s security and abuse department [email protected] will work with all customers to help ensure that proper procedures are employed that limit the possibility of resource abuse.

Communications

Enter.Net clients agree to receive various forms of communications from Enter.Net when initiating their contract for any of the following services: Website Hosting, Domain Management, Web Design, Online Marketing, or any other service that is provided and agreed upon. The types of communication includes, but is not limited to: US Mail, telephone, text, and email communications.

Business Sold / Change of Business Ownership:

Your agreement with Enter.Net is non-transferable. If your business is sold, or there is a change in ownership, kindly have the new owner contact our billing department if they wish to continue service after the original prepaid term expires. If the new owner needs access to the existing website, or any other information, you are responsible to provide them with the username and password, or any other credentials required for your website or services.

You are also responsible to let us know that there is new ownership so that we can remove any billing information associated with your account, as well as canceling the services before they auto-renew.

Website Policies

Content of Hosted Websites:

Enter.Net has a policy of not knowingly hosting any web site, colocation server or device on our colocation network that contains what is commonly referred to as “adult content”. This includes but is not limited to content that depicts sexual situations, erotic images or content that encourages users to visit a site for commerce of such content. Enter.Net reserves the right to deny service to anyone or any corporation based on our sole assessment that the content proposed or published violates our AUP. Further, Enter.Net reserves the right to cancel or suspend any account, without notice, that we judge has violated our AUP in any fashion. Enter.Net has concluded that “Children are Watching” and it is our responsibility to conduct business in a manner indicative of that statement.

3rd Party Service Usage Agreement:

Certain packages provided by Enter.Net utilize 3rd party platforms & services. Clients agree to allow Enter.Net the ability to provide the 3rd party with the necessary information in order to fulfill the requirements for the agreed upon service. Information includes, but is not limited to: Company Name, Company Address, Company Origination Date, Business Documentation, Registrants Full Name, Registrants Address, Registrants Date of Birth, Credit Card Details, etc…

Enter.Net has no control over the 3rd parties ability and cooperation to issue refunds for any of the following: Cancellation of services, unsatisfactory results, overdrawn accounts, transactions exceeding budget, or any other purchases charged by the 3rd party platform with the authorized provided payment method.

Clients understand that Enter.Net works to fulfill the agreed upon service using the platform and features offered by the 3rd party, and is not capable of modifying the 3rd parties Terms of Service Agreement, Privacy Policy, or Acceptable Use Policy.

Website Performance:

All websites designed and hosted by Enter.Net are fully optimized to function with the most reduced load time possible at the time the site is launched. During the developmental stages of each website; appropriate plugins and technical practices are implemented to increase site speed to capacity. Websites Enter.Net designs perform faster than, or within the range of the acceptable industry standard for a WordPress site. Enter.Net is not responsible for any loss or damages caused by intermittent down time/down time due to errors or omissions, customer’s user error, customers non-payment, server tweaks, server reboots, server updates, etc. Industry acceptable standards are 95% uptime and we are generally above the norm.

Website Projects:

Project term cannot exceed nine months from date of purchase. For content or changes received after the go live is complete or end of term, additional design fees may apply. After the new website goes live, customer has up to two weeks to request additional changes such as missing or additional content and photos without additional costs.

Once the new website is launched customer will receive a series of emails containing the website’s Cpanel and WordPress login information. Customer may request access to their online billing and payment portal. Customer will also receive simple step-by-step directions on how to make basic changes. Enter.net is not responsible to train/teach customer on how to make changes and additions to their website. Customer may choose to select a maintenance package to help with changes, additions, etc.

Enter.Net Hosted Websites/Domains:

Most website design packages include up to 12 months of complimentary hosting. Enter.Net also provides back-ups, security, and tech support. The type of tech support that is included is limited to issues with their hosted website/email problems. Enter.Net is not responsible for problems/issues caused by the customer or third-party updating the website themes, plugins, website edits, etc. If customer requests certain help that may be considered beyond the scope of normal tech support, Enter.Net may provide a quote to complete the request.

If a customer requests Enter.Net to relaunch/switch domains names on the current hosted website, Enter.Net reserves the right to charge a fee to complete the process. Customer understands that relaunching their website will cause loss of domain authority and will negatively impact their Google rankings. Customer understands and agrees that due to the requested relaunch, Enter.net is not responsible for any downtime, loss of Google rankings, or loss of the website content and email accounts during the relaunch and propagation process.

Customer Hosted Websites:

Customer may choose to host their own website and email upon the completion of the new website project with Enter.Net. Enter.Net will no longer be responsible for ongoing technical support services.

Once customer transfers their files to their new hosting, Enter.net is not be responsible for any further back-ups, additions, changes, etc.

Customer is responsible for any additional costs in performing ongoing updates, theme/plugin licensing fees, etc., associated with hosting and maintaining your website files.

Enter.Net only hosts websites created by Enter.Net. We do not host websites created by third-party companies or other external sources.

Website Maintenance:

Maintenance Agreements come with up to 5 basic changes per month for text and photos. Each change should take no longer than 10-15 minutes per to accomplish.

Ecommerce – Shopify Terms:

Shopify Platform & Fees
Customer understands that there will be a monthly charge (approximately $39, depending on the Shopify plan and features selected) paid directly to Shopify via credit card. The Customer is responsible for maintaining a valid credit card on file with Shopify to keep the website active and running. Any additional fees for services, such as shipping, payment processing, or upgraded plans, will also be billed directly by Shopify. The Customer further agrees to all terms and conditions of the Shopify platform, as well as those of Printify and any other preferred partners or programs used in connection with the website.

Enter.Net cooperates fully with local, state, and federal enforcement officials investigating unlawful behavior on our systems or the systems of others, and has a working relationship with both the Pennsylvania FBI office in Allentown, PA. and the Computer Crime Squad division of the FBI in Washington, DC.

AI Smart Video Policies

AI Video Performance Disclaimer

While our team uses best practices for tagging, optimization, and posting frequency, performance metrics such as view counts, engagement, follower growth, or appearance in search features (like Google’s Short Videos section) can vary based on each platform’s independent algorithms and audience behavior. Enter.Net does not guarantee placement, ranking, or visibility on any specific platform or feature. We optimize every video using relevant hashtags, geotags and keywords to maximize potential reach; However, final exposure and audience response are ultimately determined by third-party systems we do not control.

1. Content Accuracy & Client Responsibility

The client is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all information provided. While we make reasonable efforts to present content correctly, we are not liable for omissions, outdated details, or inaccuracies supplied by the client.

2. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Videos may include AI-generated visuals, voiceovers, or scripts. These are designed for marketing purposes and may not always represent exact real-world conditions, people, or scenarios.

3. Creative Interpretation Clause

Unless specific materials are provided, our team will use creative discretion to develop video content aligned with your industry and marketing goals.

4. Revision Limits

The package includes a defined number of revisions. Additional revisions or major direction changes may incur additional fees.

5. Approval Process for AI Videos

AI videos are created and scheduled for posting in accordance with the timeline and package selected. Unless a client specifically requests pre-approval, videos will be automatically published as scheduled.
If a client chooses to require approval prior to posting, videos will not be published until approval is received. Please note that Enter.Net will continue creating videos to fulfill the package and maintain your content schedule, and timely approvals will help ensure there are no delays in posting.

6. Platform Performance Disclaimer

Enter.Net does not guarantee specific results such as views, leads, rankings, or sales. Performance may vary based on platform algorithms, competition, and audience behavior.

7. Posting & Distribution Scope

Videos are distributed across agreed-upon platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube). Platform policies and algorithm changes are outside our control.

8. Client-Provided Materials & Licensing

Clients must have the rights to any logos, images, or materials provided. Enter.Net is not responsible for copyright or trademark issues related to client supplied content.

9. Stock & AI Asset Licensing

Any stock or licensed media used is authorized for use within the scope of this service. Reuse outside of this scope or on newly created external projects may require separate licensing.

10. Edits, Corrections & Error Handling

If an error is identified in a video, we will make reasonable corrections when notified. However, we are not responsible for missed opportunities, perceived damages, or delays resulting from such errors.

11. Brand Representation & Subjectivity Clause

Marketing content is inherently subjective. While we aim to align with your brand, differences in style or preference do not constitute a failure of service.
