I’m Fahim Murshid Alam, a WordPress developer, designer, and open source contributor based in Barishal, Bangladesh. Over the years, I’ve dedicated my career to building high-quality WordPress solutions, improving user experiences, and helping businesses establish a strong online presence.

Today, software I’ve created and contributed to powers more than 500,000 websites worldwide. My work focuses on WordPress development, website architecture, performance optimization, technical support, and creating products that are reliable, scalable, and easy to use.

Beyond development, I’m passionate about the WordPress ecosystem and the open source community. I serve as the Lead Organizer of the Barishal WordPress Meetup, where I help connect local WordPress users, developers, designers, and business owners through community events, knowledge sharing, and collaboration. I enjoy contributing to WordPress by testing, reviewing, mentoring, and supporting fellow community members whenever I can.

My professional journey spans web development, technical support, UI/UX implementation, and product development. Before transitioning into the web industry, I worked in the media sector with television and newspaper organizations while actively participating in volunteer initiatives and nonprofit activities. Those experiences strengthened my communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills, which continue to influence my work today.

Outside of work, I enjoy learning new technologies, contributing to open source projects, exploring AI-powered web development, traveling, riding motorcycles, playing football, and attending WordPress Meetups and WordCamps. I’m always excited to connect with people who share a passion for technology, open source, and building meaningful digital experiences.
