Fluisterbos

Set in the Seringveld conservation area, Fluisterbos (directly translate to Whispering Woods) is located north-east of the Roodeplaat dam, Pretoria. Come share in the essence of nature in one of our adventures, close enough to the city, yet far enough from the buzzle.

On your walks, you will see the resident Nyala (pronounced ‘inYhala’) herd and their offspring from time to time. A vast number of mature indigenous trees and to date, we’ve been able to positively identify eighty-one bird species. You will find strategically placed benches as you explore the area. Take a moment and enjoy the nature that surrounds you.

We are currently establishing a food forest that explores how we can produce enough fresh fruit and vegetables while keeping much of the natural trees intact.
