I built Freely Useful because I got tired of bloated online utility tools. Every time I needed to quickly count words, generate a secure password, or calculate a percentage increase, I found myself on slow sites littered with intrusive pop-up ads, complex menus, cookie walls, and trackers.
As a software developer, I knew these tools could be built much better. So I set out to build a suite of simple, lightning-fast utilities that run 100% on the client side. That means your text, files, and numbers are processed locally on your own device—they are never sent to a server, never stored in a database, and never tracked.
Whether you are a solopreneur, a developer, a writer, or just someone trying to get through daily tasks, I hope these utilities save you time and protect your privacy.

What We Stand For
Three core principles guide every single tool we build.
Speed
Your time is valuable. A tool that takes longer to load and configure than the problem it solves is a burden, not a utility. We build things that work instantly, with zero setup and zero loading screens.
Quality
Utility tools should produce precise, clean results. From cryptographically secure passwords to accurate text case changes, the output has to be reliable enough to use in professional environments.
Simplicity
If you need a manual or tutorial to figure a tool out, we failed at building it. The best utilities are completely intuitive. You open the page, get your answer, copy the result, and move on with your day.
