General Questions

What is Fulus?

Fulus is Libya's first parallel market exchange rates API, providing real-time and historical currency exchange rates for the Libyan Dinar (LYD).

Which currencies are supported?

We support USD, EUR, GBP, TRY, EGP, TND, SAR, and AED. The available currencies depend on your subscription plan.

How often are the exchange rates updated?

Exchange rates are updated in real-time throughout the day as new rates are reported from our trusted sources in the market.

API Questions

How do I get an API key?

After registering an account, go to your dashboard and click "Generate API Key". Your API key will be created instantly.

What are the rate limits?

Free plan: 1 request/day, Basic plan: 24 requests/day, Pro plan: 10,000 requests/day.

Can I access historical exchange rates?

Yes! Free plan: current day only, Basic plan: last 7 days, Pro plan: unlimited historical data.

What happens if I exceed my rate limit?

You will receive a 429 (Too Many Requests) error. Consider upgrading your plan for higher limits.

Billing & Payments

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept payments through Sadad and Adfali payment gateways.

Can I cancel my subscription anytime?

Subscriptions are valid for the purchased duration and cannot be refunded. You can choose not to renew when it expires.

Do you offer refunds?

We do not offer refunds. Please ensure you select the correct plan and billing period before purchasing.

Webhooks

What are webhooks?

Webhooks allow you to receive real-time notifications when exchange rates are updated. Available on Pro plan only.

How do I set up webhooks?

Pro plan subscribers can configure webhooks from their dashboard. Provide your endpoint URL and select which currencies to monitor.

Support

How can I contact support?

Basic and Pro plan subscribers can submit support tickets from the Help page. Pro subscribers receive priority support.

What is the difference between normal and priority support?

Priority support (Pro plan) gets faster response times and is prioritized over normal support tickets (Basic plan).
