2NE1

2NE1 is a four-member K-pop group formed by YG Entertainment that debuted in 2009 with their single, “Fire”.

Their name combines the phrases “21st century” and “new evolution”. “2NE1” can also be interpreted as “To Anyone”, which ended up the title of their 2010 album.

The group included members:
CL – Leader, Main Rapper, Lead Vocalist, Lead Dancer
Dara – Vocalist, Rapper, Visual
Bom – Main Vocalist
Minzy – Main Dancer, Lead Vocalist, Lead Rapper, Maknae

The group’s fourth and youngest member, Minzy, officially left the group on April 5th, 2016. On November 25th, 2016, YG Entertainment announced the group’s disbandment and their disbandment song, “Goodbye”, was released on January 21st, 2017.

However, on July 22nd, 2024, it was announced that the group had officially resigned with YG Entertainment and Minzy joined the group once again.

Their sound blends genres such as K-pop, hip-hop, dance-pop, R&B, pop, and electro-pop. The group is mostly known for their iconic, bold concepts.
