TWS (투어스)

TWS (투어스, pronounced ‘two-us’) is a South Korean boy group under PLEDIS Entertainment, consisting of six members: SHINYU, DOHOON, YOUNGJAE, HANJIN, JIHOON, and KYUNGMIN.

The group name stands for “Twenty-four seven With Us,” and they aim to create their own genre called Boyhood Pop, which expands from a bright and refreshing team identity.

On January 2, 2024, TWS released their first single “Oh Mymy : 7s,” followed by their debut mini-album Sparkling Blue on January 22. The album was promoted along with its title track, “첫 만남은 계획대로 되지 않아 (plot twist),” delivering the message of excitement at the first meeting but doesn’t go as planned. With an easy-to-listen melody and lyrics that fit their debut, TWS’s domestic reputation skyrocketed, and in 2024, they had the highest cumulative unique listeners on Melon.

TWS later released their mini-album SUMMER BEAT! on June 24 and their single-album Last Bell on November 25 of the same year, making TWS’s cumulative sales within a year 1.6 million copies, the second-highest-selling rookie of 2024.

With their national success in both digital and physical sales, TWS won Rookie Of The Year awards at numerous awards shows, including Asia Artist Awards, D Awards, Golden Disc Awards, MAMA Awards, and Melon Music Awards.
