Drumstep is a genre of electronic music that emerged in the late 2000s as a fusion of drum and bass and dubstep in UK. It combines the fast tempo and intricate drum patterns of drum and bass with the heavy basslines and syncopated rhythms of dubstep
Drumstep maintains a fast tempo of 170 to 180 BPM, but with a half-time feel and emphasis on each beat.
