About Oi!
Oi! is a subgenre of Punk Rock that combines elements of Punk and Pub Rock. The genre originated in the United Kingdom in the late ‘70s and was created as a result of the perceived commercialization of Punk. Oi! and the subculture surrounding the genre were notorious for uniting punks, “skinheads” and other members of the working class.
