For those wishing to drop trucks or trailers at the circuit ahead of private practice, we are unable to access the paddock area the evening of Thursday June 4, including garages and carports, as there will be an event running on the circuit at that time.
In lieu of this, drop-off will be permitted from 5:30 pm Thursday until gates close at 10:00 pm. Enter via Gate A. Trucks can be parked on the skid pan overnight and trailers parked in P5. There will be some ability to leave an unloaded car on the skid pan.
Access to no part of the pit area will be allowed on Thursday night. The ARDC will have machinery working between garages and carports to dismantle display infrastructure after sunset.
Competitors who are ‘self-catering’ on the skid pan can also set up there on Thursday evening. All entrants must leave by 11:00 pm on the Thursday night.
Please note, there will be no access to the paddock area until 6:00 am Friday morning.
Enter for private practice through the Motorsport Australia members portal. A half day fee of $140 is available for the post lunch sessions on Friday afternoon.
Sign on for Friday practice is in the Hinxman room from 7:00 am. If you have not entered for Friday practice via the online system, you can enter and pay at sign on.
The drivers’ briefing will be in the Café above garage #1 at 8:00 am. Alternative arrangements for the drivers’ briefing will be provided at sign on if you are arriving later than this.
A paddock map is available above. Please adhere to this map, particularly in taking up a position on the skid pan. Also, please assist by parking your tender vehicle and trailer in the designated parking areas (not the paddock.)
Entry passes and HSRCA sign-on will be available in the Hinxman Room from 11:00 am Friday morning (practice day). Please bring the following:
We have automatically allocated two entry passes to each competitor. Additional passes will be provided if requested up to a maximum of 4. Your HSRCA member’s card can act as an additional pass, plus one guest. Extra passes are available upon request at $30 each. Please only take what you need.
This will also include tender vehicle passes. Please insert your race car number on the tender pass.
If you are not arriving at the circuit until Saturday morning:
An important note for Sydney Motorsport Park going forward – the circuit has phased out Dorian timers and now only supports MyLaps timers. This means that you will need a MyLaps transponder for the weekend. As they are quite expensive, we will be providing these for free for all competitors at the 2026 Sydney Classic.
If you wish to purchase one, Lisa from Eldee Timing is offering several discounted rates until June 30, 2026, which you can find by clicking this link. A yearly subscription is also available through MyLaps direct, which you can find at this link.
MyLaps devices will need to be collected as follows:
If you wish to apply as media for the 2026 HSRCA Sydney Classic, contact Seth at web@hsrca.com.
Due to upgrade works being carried out on the grandstand, the facility will be unavailable for public use from 3 June through to 30 June, which unfortunately means the grandstands will be inaccessible for the 2026 Sydney Classic.
Spectator passes will be available online ahead of the event, and will be available at the gate each day. All adult passes include free entry for kids 12 and under.
Gates will be open from 8:00am, with racing starting from 8:30am on both days.
Sydney Motorsport Park is located 40km west of Sydney’s CBD on Brabham Drive/ Ferrers Road at Eastern Creek. It is most easily accessed by car or bike, but is accessible by train or bus. The main spectator entrance is Gate A, which is around the back of the circuit turning left off Ferrers Road and left when you see the ticket booths. General parking is available in the P3 carpark.
Information on getting to the circuit is available on the Sydney Motorsport Park website:

As always, garages, carports and marquees will be allocated in order of receipt of entries, so first in will be best accommodated. Please place your entries promptly to ensure your desired lodgings.
We appreciate that the world is in a challenging balance at present, and that running a historic race meeting under current conditions is not going to be easy. Thankfully, fuel prices are trending in the right direction and we hope to have good availability and a manageable price for the weekend.
We hope that you will join us for a great weekend out racing with friends, and greatly appreciate your support as always.
We look forward to seeing everyone at Sydney Motorsport Park June 5 – 7.
