GENE Section Builder turns a blank page into a finished Home page in seconds.
Choose your industry and a color, then press Generate. A complete, professionally designed page appears — built entirely from native WordPress core blocks and ready to edit. Change any text, image, color, or layout with the editor you already know. You can preview the result in your chosen color before you generate it. (A header and footer are part of the companion GENE Blocks Studio product; the free page leaves a labeled placeholder where each would go.)
Each industry comes with its own finished design and copy — not a blank template you have to fill in, and not a sprawling pattern library to dig through. It is a guided picker that hands you the right design for the combination you choose.
Refined motion, built in
Generated sections come alive without any setup:
- Titles are centered with a tasteful accent underline.
- Sections reveal gently as the reader scrolls into them.
- Cards tilt subtly toward the cursor in 3D.
- A soft, accent-colored glow follows the cursor across each section.
Every effect is pure CSS, honors the reader’s “reduce motion” preference, and adds no heavy JavaScript. You can switch it off per section with a single toggle.

Built on core blocks — no lock-in
Every section is standard WordPress markup (group, columns, heading, paragraph, image, cover, buttons, details). That means full editability, compatibility with any block-aware theme, and content that stays intact if you ever deactivate the plugin — you only lose the design styling. No frameworks, no bloat.

Installation
- In your WordPress admin, go to Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin.
- Upload the gene-section-builder.zip file and click Install Now.
- Activate the plugin.
- In the block editor, search for “Section Builder” or find it under the “GENE Section Builder” category.

Does this require a specific theme?

No. GENE Section Builder works with any block-aware WordPress theme.

Can I edit the generated sections?

Yes. After clicking Generate, the section is replaced with regular core blocks. You can edit every part — text, images, colors, spacing — using normal WordPress editor controls.

What happens if I deactivate the plugin?

Your content stays. The blocks are converted to core blocks at generation time, so they keep working. You only lose the design CSS polish.

How is this different from a block pattern?

Patterns are a static library you browse. Section Builder asks for your industry and color and generates the matching design — a guided picker, not a flat list — and lets you preview it first.

Will the motion affect performance?

No. The motion is CSS transforms only, loaded only where it is used, and it respects the “reduce motion” accessibility setting. It adds no meaningful load time, and you can turn it off per section with a single toggle when generating.

Is there a paid version?

GENE Section Builder is free. Some features — a generated header and footer, more page types (Contact, Menu, Work), SEO, a contact form, client-delivery locking and block export/import — are part of a separate product, GENE Blocks Studio (https://gene-wp.com/). It is a standalone product, not an unlock of this plugin; everything described above stays free.

- Improved: all seven color palettes now drive every design, and charcoal stays legible on the dark designs.
- Fix: section headings stay centered reliably across themes and caching (centering is baked into the markup and also injected inline in the page).
- Fix: the header/footer upgrade placeholder is always legible (its colors are baked into the block markup).
- Change: generated paragraphs store their center alignment in style.typography.textAlign instead of the align attribute, which WordPress 7.0 deprecated for paragraphs. Output and appearance are unchanged.
