Notice Regarding Student Account Access Issues

Indian River State College is currently experiencing a Microsoft student synchronization issue. Our Information Technology team is actively working with Microsoft support to resolve the matter as quickly as possible.

At this time, the majority of students have access to Banner, and all active students have access to Canvas. However, some Microsoft-related services and third-party applications may be temporarily unavailable until the issue is fully resolved.

The current issues may include:

  • Inability to access student email accounts
  • Inability to access Office 365 (including OneDrive and Office Suite) 
  • Inability to reset passwords for accounts that require authentication via student email (including McGraw-Hill and Cengage)
  • Inability to access certain third-party applications, such as Adobe and other integrated services

Students who CAN access Banner but have trouble registering for classes should contact the Help Desk for assistance.

We understand the inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience while we work toward a resolution. Additional updates will be communicated as they become available.
