About
Jean Bliss is a 24-year-old writer from the West Midlands, currently studying for a master’s degree in creative writing. In 2024, Jean was shortlisted for the V. Press Poetry Prize and the Black Pear Press Prize. She works in both prose and poetry and has recently begun experimenting with hybrid forms. Over the last few years, Jean has been establishing a personal style centred around the ideals of the Beat movement but placed within a modern context. Her works often explore pansexuality, hedonism, and free-flowing thought.
