Safety Home

Soccer goal safety is essential.
This page provides foundational guidance to help ensure movable soccer goals are properly secured and used responsibly. While no resource can eliminate all risk, following these best practices significantly reduces the likelihood of preventable accidents.
Kwik Goal developed this Safety Resource Center to support ongoing safety education across the soccer community. The information provided here is based in part on the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) publication Guidelines for Movable Soccer Goal Safety, along with established industry standards and best practices.
We encourage coaches, administrators, field maintenance personnel, volunteers, and parents to conduct routine pre-match and pre-training inspections and to implement a formal goal safety plan within their organization. Goals must be anchored at all times, and players of every age should understand the dangers of climbing or hanging on unanchored equipment.
Safety is a shared responsibility and it starts with proper anchoring and awareness.
