Marco Island was the ideal place to center myself and spend some time on the beach. The weather was warm, the skies were clear, and the sunsets were gorgeous each evening.

I devoured the water — walking along the beach, grabbing shells, soaking in the sun. It was soft and white sand, the ocean was calm and clear.

And I had a chance to taste some fabulous local seafood. Right on the ocean, everything was fresh.

One of my favorite moments was going on a boat tour. We spotted dolphins jumping and could explore quiet little islands not far away.

Marco Island felt serene, manageable. It’s a beautiful spot to decompress, be surrounded by nature and get away from the hustle and bustle. I’d love to go back.
