Love actually needs work is a dating advice show on CJLO 1690AM every Sunday @3pm and was born out of my insatiable need to comment on the fact that dating on our modern era is so fundamentally flawed.
As a 23 year old girl in the dating scene I am consistently left disappointed by the prospect of entering into a serious relationship and for the longest time I felt like I might be the only one. But, doing this show has showed me that men and women alike are experiencing the same trials and tribulations in our modern dating environment; ghosting, lack of commitment, situationships, and so much more.
All of this prompted a need to explore the differences between more traditional forms of dating that we’ve all heard from our grandparents and the current environment of the modern era that we are all desperately trying to navigate.
So both on the show and in this blog every week you’ll be going on this explorational journey with me and I hope that by the end of it we can find some answers but maybe find ourselves too?…..
Because one thing is for sure that love isn’t easy, it needs work…..
