Dan Nevin

About

Dan has dedicated much of his career to supporting independent music, starting out managing a record store in the ’90s before spending over a decade at one of Australia’s leading independent record companies. Stints in e-commerce and digital media followed, eventually leading to overseeing one of Australia’s first music streaming services, before joining the Australian Independent Record Labels Association as CEO. Since moving to London in 2016, Dan has consulted to music companies (including Merlin), labels and distributors, and has mentored emerging music tech companies, whilst starting his own hobby record label. A passionate music person, Dan can be found regularly at gigs, reading music biographies, and exploring life with his wife and two daughters.
