Transportation and Parking envisions a future where accessing and enjoying the UNC-Chapel Hill campus is safe, convenient, equitable, and sustainable for the entire campus community and visitors. Through collaboration, transparency, and a focus on excellence, we strive to create a campus environment where transportation is seamless, efficient, and supports the overall mission and goals of UNC-Chapel Hill.

Transportation and Parking strives to produce and manage convenient, safe, equitable and sustainable ways for the Carolina community and visitors to access and enjoy the UNC-Chapel Hill campus. As a self-funded and receipt-supported department, Transportation and Parking is dedicated to employing cost-effective strategies that provide the highest value of the University’s limited parking resources.
