We are OACT, a community theatre located in the “Valley of the Moon,” Ojai, CA!
OACT (the Ojai Art Center Theater) is a part of the Ojai Art Center, a community hub for the arts whose Theater Branch has an annual selection shows performed throughout the year. We also host several one-of-a-kind events, celebrations, readings, and more. Come see a show, lend a hand behind the scenes, or shine on stage in one of our productions!

On the night of his 35th birthday, confirmed bachelor, Robert, contemplates his unmarried state. Over the course of a series of dinners, drinks and even a wedding, his friends –”those good and crazy people [his] married friends” – explain the pros and cons of taking on a spouse. The habitually single Robert is forced to question his adamant retention of bachelorhood in a series of hilarious episodes. Stephen Sondheim and George Furth’s Company is considered a landmark in modern musical theatre and features some of Sondheim’s best-known songs.

Join a young boy named Jojo who conjures up a fantastical world where the Cat in the Hat brings together the stories of Horton the Elephant, Gertrude McFuzz, and the Whos of Whoville! Come on a magical journey to celebrate the power of imagination.
