A Brief History
Founded by brothers Pete and Paul Ganim, Ownit Homes has been committed to the highest level of customer care since building its first home for the Robertson family in Janet Street, Booval in 1972.
Over the years Ownit Homes has built an enviable reputation as a result of a strong work ethic, exceptional attention to detail and integrity.
The next generation, Scott and Brad Ganim continue this hands-on, personalised approach, and look forward to welcoming you to the Ownit Homes family and bringing your dream to life.
Frequently Asked Questions
How long does it take to build a house?
The timeframe of your build depends on your home design, block of land and how intricate the design is. As a note, single storey homes are generally quicker to build than double storey homes. Visit your nearest display centre and speak with our New Home Consultant for an estimate of timeframes.
Do you have a display home I can visit?
Yes, we have 5 display centres located across South East Queensland for your convenience. Our display centre locations are in Rochedale, Bridgeman Downs, Newport, Redland Bay and Springfield Rise.
Where do you build?
We build across Greater Brisbane and the Gold Coast. From as far north as Caboolture and Bribie Island, all the way south as Coolangatta. We also build out west as far as Kalbar, Boonah and Rosewood in Ipswich.
How do your promotions work?
Our promotions change every now and again, and offer you fantastic offers that sweeten the deal for your new build. Visit your nearest display centre and our New Home Consultants can explain our current promotion. Does Ownit Homes do custom builds?
Yes, at Ownit Homes, we understand that every family has different needs, which is why we offer flexible floorplans and completely custom home options so that you can live the way you want.
Do you assist in financing?
No, Ownit Homes currently does not assist in financing your home, however our New Home Consultants at our display centres can provide you with information to help get you started.
What is the difference between your Classic and Dream inclusion levels?
We have two levels of inclusions at Ownit Homes. Our Classic Inclusions level is our basic level of inclusions and comes with all the essentials you need to move into your home. This is also a great option if you’re looking to stick within a budget. Our Dream inclusions is a display home standard, high quality inclusions level that features all the bells and whistles you want in a brand new home that stands out from the rest.
What is your structural guarantee?
At Ownit Homes, we’re committed to quality, which is why we’re proud to offer our customers a 20 Year Structural Guarantee on their homes. Feel confident knowing that your home will stand the test of time. Terms and conditions apply.
Where do I choose the colours, fixtures and fittings for my home?
Your dream home comes to life in our Dream Studio located at the Ownit Homes Head Office in Upper Mount Gravatt. This is where you will work with our qualified Colour Consultant to choose everything in your home, from colours to all fixtures, fittings and finishes.
Do you offer any house and land packages in Brisbane or surrounds?
Yes, our turnkey home and land packages are located in some of the most desirable suburbs in Brisbane and surrounds, offering a more streamlined, cost-effective approach to home-ownership.
Are you a fully insured and licensed builder?
Yes, we are insured as required by Queensland Law, and our QBCC Licence Number is 006479.
