Hi everyone! I’m Brooklynn Koonce, a rising junior at NC State majoring in Elementary Education with a minor in TESOL. This is my SECOND time studying abroad in Prague. I first came here in 2024 through NC State’s Summer Start Program, and now I’m back as a third-year student!
Come along for a day in my life studying abroad in Prague. Students in the summer program take 6 credit hours, but I only have one class each day, which leaves plenty of time to explore. NC State Prague offers two housing options for summer students, and both are conveniently located within the city. NC State also provides tram passes, and while public transportation is the easiest way to get around, Prague is such a walkable city that you can reach most places on foot.
One of the best parts of studying abroad here is having Prague as a home base. Between classes and exploring the city, I’ve already traveled to four other countries this summer! 🇨🇿✈️ Follow along as I take you through a typical day in my life as an NC State student in Prague.
