Reverse: 1999 is a story-driven RPG that blends turn-based combat, card mechanics, and a gacha system, placing a strong focus on narrative and visual identity. From the very beginning, it sets itself apart with a striking premise: time started flowing backwards on the last day of 1999, and the world barely noticed.
A mystery born at the end of 1999
The story unfolds in an alternate modern world shaped by a strange storm that reversed the flow of time. Major historical events never happened, and the main character is drawn into this distorted reality while searching for answers—and for their missing mother. Along the way, you’ll meet characters from different eras, some of them arcanists with abilities that blur the line between magic and science.
Turn-based battles and gacha-driven progression
Progress in Reverse: 1999 revolves around building a balanced team through its gacha recruitment system and creating an effective deck of cards. Battles are turn-based and reward careful planning, as spells, abilities, and character synergies play a key role in overcoming tougher encounters.
A retro-inspired world with a modern touch
Visually, the game stands out thanks to its unique mix of pop art, classical painting influences, and styles inspired by different moments of the 20th century. Full English voice acting, featuring a wide range of accents, adds an extra layer of immersion to the journey through time.
Reverse: 1999 is a strong choice for players looking for an RPG with personality, a compelling story, and gacha mechanics that serve a richer, narrative-focused experience.

I love everything about this game
It's good, but there should be a Vietnamese language pack. There are too many obscure words in the English version.
