Our Story

Jeremy and Tim’s love affair with wine started the usual way: trips to Napa, way too many tastings, and before long, joining more wine clubs than they could count (almost 30). At one point, they had thousands of bottles lying around and decided, “Why just drink it when we can make it?” That’s how Blue Scarlet Wine was born—complete with Jeremy’s bold, art-driven labels and a knack for turning wine into something way more fun than stuffy.

By 2019, they’d opened a tasting room—just nine months before the world shut down. Instead of disaster, it turned into rocket fuel: everyone stuck at home was drinking, and when over 500 celebrities and influencers started posting their bottles, sales went through the roof. What was supposed to be a crazy hobby turned into a real business (and a wild ride).

Fast-forward a couple of years: things changed with the original tasting room, and it was time for a pivot. Enter S&M Wine Co.—launched under the umbrella of Blue Scarlet Wine with the help of a few brave founding members. It’s unapologetically bold, a little rebellious, and built on the idea that wine should be fun, approachable, and just a little bit naughty.

Because here’s the deal: Jeremy and Tim never wanted wine to feel like homework. You won’t find soil maps, mineral charts, or lectures in their space—you’ll find what feels like a cozy extension of their living room. It’s where family, friends, and total strangers come together to laugh, ask the “stupid” wine questions, drink something delicious, and enjoy labels that are just as fearless as the wines inside.
