This is the content team! We're a pretty large overarching-team in charge of organising talks, workshops, installations, films and music for EMF (most of these are also sub-teams).
Our line up has been updated with music and performances!
Check out https://www.emfcamp.org/schedule/2026 to see what’s happening!
You read it right - we have evening entertainment for the first time this year! Enjoy John Robertson’s The Dark Room, Excel comedy with David Benaim, Nerd Mentality’s Duel to the Death, Alistair Aitcheson’s romantic technically enabled clown comedy, a full Variety Night featuring well known EMFers (and new!), Robin Ince, and the return of family favourite FoxDog Studios with their Robo Bingo! On Sunday night a special edition of PowerPoint Karaoke will be running too. We’re very excited to bring you these wonderful special guests.

We have now performed our final selections for talks and workshops, thank you so much for all your submissions!
You submitted 369 talks and 162 workshops, which are the highest numbers we've ever had. We had to make some extremely difficult choices and there was so much incredible content we sadly couldn't accept.
You should have received an email - if you haven't, there is a tiny number we are still working out if we can fit in. Performances, Installations, and Family Workshops are still in the selection process.
Thanks again for all of the wonderful talks and workshops - we were overwhelmed by the immense range of things you are excited about and look forward to your submissions again for 2028!
Don't forget to help our scheduler by favouriting the things you'd like to see at https://www.emfcamp.org/schedule/2026
You may have noticed our schedule is up! Please go favourite some talks so our scheduler knows what to put in the really big tents. :D https://emfcamp.org/schedule/2026
The Call for Participation is now closed for talks and workshops, thank you for all the amazing submissions!
We're still accepting submissions for:
- family workshops
- performances
- installations
https://www.emfcamp.org/cfp
Reminder that we'll be closing our Call for Participation for workshops & talks tomorrow (Sunday 7th June) at midnight.
We're still accepting proposals for Family Workshops and Installations
Another round close this evening! We will be closing the CFP on the 7th June for #emfcamp2026. We will then be doing the final round close 14th June and finalise all our talks and workshops then. More info on the CFP site! https://www.emfcamp.org/cfp if you'd like to get your talk or workshop in before the deadline!
Another round closure tonight for talks and workshops - we also started rejecting proposals that required more than 2 months notice and didn't have good enough review scores to meet our threshold. If you got rejected don't worry! You can still submit something else (that ideally doesn't need 2+ months notice!). #emfcamp26 #emfcamp #emfcamp2026
First round closures on Sunday for workshops and tonight for talks. Some really great stuff coming in, so please submit your proposal! If your talk or workshop wasn't accepted yet, don't fret: we are now doing regular round closures as our reviewers keep reviewing proposals. https://www.emfcamp.org/cfp
