Moving house has been the most tiring thing I’ve ever done this time around. I could sleep for a week.

I have made a nook in the living room from blankets and cushions. Not quite a fort but a peaceful place nonetheless.

I’m not sure if my toe is broken or if just dislocated and relocated itself quickly (there was an earth shattering crack) but what I am sure of is that I injured it on a cushion.

The wind has died off and the smoke has settled over the city. Even though we’ve closed up the air quality in here is so bad that my eyes and throat are sore. I’ve unplugged our little IKEA air quality indicator, I don’t need it reminding me of how bad this is.

I've been advising my brother with the setup of his business website for a couple of months now and tomorrow it's launching. The end is in site!

A sleepless hot night. Thank goodness for public holidays.

Three months of back injury and I’m recovering but my fitness level has hit “exhausted walking up the three flights of stairs to our flat”

We’re in Sydney to watch Kylie tomorrow night but sadly my body has been destroyed by running (it was not the exercise my knees liked) so we’re taking it easy this evening watching the Mardi Gras parade from the comfort of a TV.

Not content with my failure to eat all the Quality Street yesterday I’ve had several for breakfast.

Yesterday the second part of partner visa application went in (the permanent part) so of course every email clang and popup from now until it is granted, possibly months or years away, will fill me with a sense of excitement then disappointment.

On the days where I have to do less jazzy front-end coding and more… well back-end to be honest, nothing makes me happier than leaning back, setting my 4k monitor to 1080p and giving me eyes a well deserved rest/treat.

Notched the screen resolution down to a bigger one on my laptop to make my eyes feel young again.

This is, I think, the third time me and my partner have been apart since I moved to Australia as she’s gone to a Jungle gig in Sydney and I have to work tomorrow. It is so quiet and cold without her.

It’s not possible for it to be a bad day once you’ve seen a pelican.

My copy of Diddy Kong Racing arrives tomorrow and I am so excited! I never owned it growing up but always loved playing it and trying to compete it in the tiny rental window.

Finally finished Baldur’s Gate 3. I’ve been putting off the epilogue all week as I didn’t really want it all to end and now I’m sad.

POV it’s 89% humidity and 25°C at near 11:30pm and sleep is but a distant memory of a thing you could once do.

Arrived at the gym for it to be a lot more watery than it used to be.

I can feel myself getting to the end of Baldur’s Gate 3 and I don’t want it to. I will savour these remaining 10-15 hours.
