Big shoutout to @pydantic. They started working on MCP stuff and when they run into issues, they just went ahead and started fixing the Python SDK with multiple PRs a day. No bs, no talking, just doing. ❤️

We finalized a new revision of MCP. Revision 2025-03-26 will bring Auth, Streamable HTTP, Audio modality and a few other goodies. We will be getting the SDKs up-to-date asap and will work towards a v 2.0 of the Python and Typescript SDK. But don't worry, everything is

MCP Specification 2025-11-25 Release Candidate: We have frozen the spec for the upcoming release of MCP. Upcoming additions are Tasks, enabling long running operations, and Client ID Metadata replacing Dynamic Client Registration as well as a lot of small ergonomics. Take a look

Anthropic made the right move. MCP's can now be fully stateless, resumable, and implemented with just plain HTTP with this RFC. (link in reply)
