Operation Helping Hands
Relief Effort for the Venezuelan Earthquakes
A series of devastating earthquakes has impacted communities across Venezuela, causing widespread damage to homes, infrastructure and essential services.
In response, United Way Miami and Miami Herald/el Nuevo Herald have activated Operation Helping Hands to provide relief for affected individuals and families, helping address both immediate needs and longer-term recovery efforts.
In addition, United Way Miami and Miami-Dade County are partnering with Global Empowerment Mission (GEM), which will serve as the designated organization responsible for collecting essential goods for those impacted by the earthquakes.
