The War Murals Project is a unique initiative that aims to document, preserve, and share the art and stories created by servicemembers during the Global War on Terror. We believe that this art, often created in the form of murals and graffiti on barriers and T-walls, serves as a powerful way to connect with the history and experiences of those who served.

We are deeply committed to preserving this art and the stories behind it for future generations, as many of these pieces are regularly destroyed or left to decay in harsh climates. We believe that this art serves as a snapshot of a unit's identity, and a monument to the life-changing experiences of those who served and and excellent way to understand a long and confusing conflict.

As we continue to build our digital library on this platform, we invite you to explore the map and exhibits or even visit our original site warmurals.com to view over 3000 photos that we have collected from veterans so far. With your help, we hope to continue to grow and preserve this important collection for future generations.
