The Spectrum X REU+ Program, will be hosted during the Summer 2026 at the following sites:
University of Notre Dame, National Radio Astronomy Observatory, University of California Puerto Rico Mayaguez, University of Virginia, and MIT Haystack Radio Observatory.
Students will have the opportunity to work with an experienced, trained mentor in their field of interest, including, but not limited to, Spectrum Use Cases and Coexistence, Radio and Network Technologies, Data and Machine Learning, Spectrum Economics and Policy, and Science Communication.
Applications are now closed for the Dan Pedtke Equipment Fund. Established to advance hands-on student research and innovation in wireless technology at the University of Notre Dame, the fund supports the purchase of equipment such as RF components, instruments, and other essential lab tools. These resources enable innovative student research within the Wireless Institute and the Departments of Computer Science and Electrical Engineering.
