Together with an extensive network of partners, MEDB has initiated innovative programs and services that serve the County of Maui.  In fact, many best practice models are now being implemented across Hawaii, as well as in other states and countries.  Essentially, these programs are designed to balance the need for economic stability and diversity while respecting each community’s cultural and environmental traditions.
