Welcome to Rusty Meadow, a small family-run camping, glamping and outdoor venue hire escape in Godshill, on the Isle of Wight, where life gets a bit simpler.
We've pitched up at hundreds of campsites over the years, at home and out on the road, and honestly? The nights we remember best were always the simplest ones. Sitting around a fire pit, a beer or a wine in hand, a beautiful sunset and the kids making s'mores!
No clubhouse, no bar, just good company, a bit of peace and quiet and a place to just chill.
So that's what we've built here. Back to basics camping, proper bell tent glamping, and a gorgeous scenic venue hire space to boot, all homemade with a lot of love and a lot of imagination, upcycled bits and bobs turned into something we're properly proud of. You'll spot red squirrels, badgers, buzzards and more if you're lucky, and walking and cycling routes lead straight out the gate. When you fancy a change of scene, Godshill village is just a fifteen minute stroll away for a pint, a cream tea, or the play park for the kids.
Don't have a firepit? We've got you covered! You can hire fire pits and buy logs on site!
Run by Rusty Rails Farm CIC, we built Rusty Meadow because it's the little campsite we always hoped to find, and one that gives back to the community too!
