Follow your curiosity at the next Second Saturday Kids Day! This month, we are partnering with the Franklin Park Conservatory to have exciting hands on learning experiences and activities. Meet special guest Lily from the hit PBS series Weather Hunters!

Activities Include:
- Pinwheel craft
- Rainbow Demo Station
- Cloud Art Station
- Chalk and bubbles (weather permitting)
- Airbrush artist
- Meet and Greet with Lily

all activities are "while supplies last"

Registration is FREE but required.

WOSU will be at the Columbus Book Festival. Join us for a weekend of adventure for all ages each day from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.

Meet and greet your favorite WOSU host, learn about upcoming content, craft and show your WOSU spirit.

Also, see Classical 101 Morning Host Christopher Purdy moderate the The Rest of the Iceberg: Research for Fiction Writing author discussion on Saturday, July 11 from 10:30 - 11:30 a.m. in Meeting Room 3A.

Christopher will talk with three fiction authors to see the depth of research behind their favorite stories. Take a peek beneath the surface with these fiction authors.

Join WOSU at the Ohio State Fair in the children’s village for engaging family activities.

Also don’t miss a culinary demonstration with Kate Quickel of Kate’s Quick Bites and Broad & High at 4 p.m. in the new Ohio Proud Kitchen on the fairgrounds.

Bluegrass at the Barn is back—and we’re bringing it home!

This year, the celebration moves to the heart of The Ohio State University campus at the iconic Mershon Auditorium.
Join us Sunday, August 16, for a full day of bluegrass music, featuring a “Grand Ole Opry”–style lineup that celebrates the past, present, and future of the genre.

For the fourth year, we’re showcasing some of the biggest names in bluegrass today—welcoming back fan favorites alongside artists making their Bluegrass at the Barn debut.

Artists scheduled to appear include:

• Authentic Unlimited
• The Kody Norris Show
• Junior Sisk
• Hammertowne
• Don Rigsby

Concert Details:

• Expanded lineup: Now featuring 5 incredible acts (up from 3!)
• Vendor Village: Enjoy food trucks, craft and artisan vendors, and sponsor activations on the Mershon terrace
